How to configure port forwarding with multiple public IP addresses? [EN]

For this configuration example we use a DrayOS Vigor router.

Configuration

1.Open WAN>>Internet Access and click WAN IP Alias. Type your multiple public IPs in the following dialog.

WAN >> Internet-Access >> WAN-IP-Alias WAN >> Internet-Access >> WAN-IP-Alias WAN >> Internet-Access >> WAN-IP-Alias WAN >> Internet-Access >> WAN-IP-Alias

WAN >> Internet-Access >> WAN-IP-Alias

2. Next, open NAT >> Open Ports >> Edit Open Port. Map all the Public IP addresses with Private IP addresses.

NAT >> Open-Ports >> Edit-Open-Ports NAT >> Open-Ports >> Edit-Open-Ports NAT >> Open-Ports >> Edit-Open-Ports NAT >> Open-Ports >> Edit-Open-Ports

NAT >> Open-Ports >> Edit-Open-Ports

Thus, other users can access into your servers via IP address: 202.211.100.179 and 202.211.100.180.

"Add NAT IP Pool" can reduce the probability of being attacked (if there is only one WAN IP for a router, it is easy to be attacked). When you check this box for other Pubic IPs, these Public IPs will be bound with WAN IPs and translated/used by NAT randomly. If a session uses the first IP address for sending packet out but use anther IP address for sending packet out next time, it will cause some troubles. The reason is that source IP of the packet is changed, so the packets are discarded by the peer. Basically, ”Add NAT IP Pool” is not recommended for using.
